Vehicle exhaust extraction for cars, trucks, buses, fire trucks, ambulances and other emergency vehicles
Exhaust emissions from a cold-start engine can reach toxic levels within a closed building. Even though the vehicles are run only a short time indoors and with open doors, the odorless carbon monoxide (vehicle exhaust) builds up in the building. Without control and removal of the vehicle exhaust fumes they can lead to worker illness, heavier facility maintenance and damage to the sensitive electronics of diagnostic and servicing equipment in the workshop.
Exhaust extraction at source
The most effective method of capturing and removing of vehicle exhaust fumes is capture at source. Capturing the vehicle exhaust gases provides a safer and more pleasant working environment.
Electric motor driven or spring recoil exhaust extraction of vehicle diesel fumes
The best solution in workshops with a high ceiling, where overhead cranes etc. have to be considered, or where high vehicles must pass. Operated via a hand unit either an IR control or pendant control. A receiving eye on the reel shows the status of operation. Electronic limit switches reduce the risk of malfunction and unnecessary wearing of the hose. Fan start/stop is automatically controlled. Mounting of fan on reel is possible.
Convenient and safe operation
Automatic fan operation
Settings for limit switches made from floor level

Nederman's wall-mounted Trackarm is designed for heavy stationary vehicles.
It is a solution where crane bridges, height of ceiling, etc. make ceiling mounting of other systems difficult. The horizontal hose is compressible, and fixed to a 180° pivoting arm. The balancer keeps the hose lifted and stretched at all times. This makes the Trackarm System very flexible to use and easy to operate. The Trackarm System consists of: wall bracket, extraction arm, horizontal hose, vertical hose, trolley, balancer and nozzle.
Simplifies handling of large and heavy hoses
Reaches exhaust pipes anywhere within an area of 76 m2 (818 ft2)
Safe operation with safety coupling
For large airflow requirements
Can be moved out of the way when not in use
